SR GL Accountant

General Purpose of Position: The Sr. Accountant will provide senior level accounting assistance to the Accounting team. Primary focus around general ledger, reconciliations, fixed asset processing and roll forwards, and inter-company monitoring. Responsibilities will apply to multiple entities.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Responsible for general ledger entries.

2. Prepare weekly billing for multiple entities.

3. Reconcile general ledger/subledger balances & research discrepancies.

4. Prepare weekly/monthly invoices and submit to customers.

5. Assist in maintaining fixed asset subledger.

6. Following internal controls.

7. Internal communications with other related entities accounting staff for intercompany payables and receivables.

8. Interaction with operational personnel for invoicing questions and as necessary to perform job function.

9. Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree

2. 3-5 years Accounting Experience

3. CPA or CPA eligibility preferred

4. Proficiency in Microsoft operating system and suite of tools preferred

5. Experience with Dynamics GP preferable, but not required

6. Ability to effectively communicate and lead

7. Ability to successfully solve problems

8. Ability to quickly shift focus quickly to newly prioritized tasks from management

9. Meet expectations for completions of duties on tight deadlines

10. Ability to effectively function in open office environment

11. Ability to manage direction from multiple sources and Controllers or Assistant Controllers

12. Comply with all Company policies and procedures
