Sr Field Technician SUMMARY
The Senior Field Technician is accountable for client liaison, generation of sampling schedules, coordination of sample collection and for collecting client samples from oil and gas wells and facilities within their assigned region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Must comply with Safety Responsibilities explained in the Safety Responsibility Policy.
•Maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
•Maintain compliance with the Health, Safety, and Quality Management Systems requirements.
•Contribute to the effectiveness of the Management Systems, including improvement of performance and reduction of nonconformities.
•Liaise with clients to schedule field sampling and assist with coordination of sampling schedules.
•Attend client meetings as required
•Collect requested client samples from oil and gas wells and facilities within their assigned region.
•Ensure that field sampling sheets are completed correctly, and samples are logged into our Edge system.
•Respond to client concerns and requests.
•Maintain communication with the Calgary and Edmonton laboratories. Inform supervisor of incidents with field equipment, trucks, and sampling.
•Ensure the following regarding assigned field vehicle(s): routine servicing/maintenance, and routine cleaning.
•Carry out field analysis and sampling as per “Field Services Standard Operating Procedures and Forms”.
•Conversant with analytical services provided by Core Laboratories and those required by the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Prerequisite for this position includes a minimum of 4-year combined related experience and education
•Secondary diploma or equivalent required.
•Must hold a current driver’s license.
