As a member of the NextEra Energy wildlife team, you will face different challenges every day, some of which will be extraordinarily complex. We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Bat Biologist to join our Environmental Services team as a Subject Matter Expert. The candidate will be highly knowledgeable and have extensive experience in bat biology, conservation, and management with a focus on wind and renewable energy projects, ensuring our projects comply with regulatory requirements and minimize environmental impact. This role will involve providing expertise on bat-related issues specifically related to bat populations affected by wind energy projects and must have experience with development and implementation of bat/habitat conservation plans.
