Sr Water Quality Modeler (Hybrid)

Join an enthusiastic, talented team of LCRA scientists protecting water resources in the Texas Colorado River basin! The Aquatic Science Team is looking for a scientist or engineer with experience in water quality modeling. This position will also coordinate LCRA’s real-time water quality monitoring program. Our team works to monitor, protect, research, and enhance water quality and aquatic resources in the lower Colorado River, its reservoirs and tributaries. This role is suited for those who enjoy and are skilled at working with scientific data and models, learning collaboratively with others, effective communication, and finding science-based solutions for complex problems. You will have the opportunity to travel throughout the Colorado River watershed to help monitor and assess the water quality of this beautiful region, and to work with internal and external colleagues to accomplish water quality protection goals.
