Our electrical portfolio is composed of commercial, public works, federal government, industrial, agricultural, residential electrification, and service sectors.
Position Summary:
The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This includes managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and client relationships to ensure timely and profitable completion of projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage all aspects of multiple electrical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
•Collaborate with estimators, engineers, superintendents, and field crews to ensure alignment of project goals.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
•Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
•Monitor project schedules and proactively identify and resolve delays or conflicts.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations.
•Coordinate subcontractor and vendor activities to meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
•Oversee change order management, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
•Support the development and mentoring of junior project management staff.
•Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in electrical construction project management, including leadership of large-scale commercial, industrial, or public works projects.
•Proven success managing projects exceeding $1 million in value.
•Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
•Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and local building codes.
•Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications: (not required)
•Experience with Accubid, Microsoft Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sage.
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Work Environment:
•This role requires regular site visits and interaction with field personnel and subcontractors.
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
