We’re seeking a driven and strategic Director of Finance who will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, project accounting, and financial reporting. This role plays a strategic part in guiding financial decision-making, optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance with construction industry regulations, and supporting long-term company growth.

+ Lead the company’s annual budgeting and forecasting processes. + Partner with senior leadership and PE firm on long-term financial planning, capital strategy, and profitability analysis. + Create and analyze performance metrics and project profitability to drive operational efficiency. + Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including general accounting, job costing, payroll, AP/AR, and cash management. + Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial and project performance. + Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. + Conduct regular business unit reviews. + Manage job cost reporting, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. + Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, change orders, and cost-to-complete estimates. + Manage Cost Accounting associated with Manufacturing + Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, union rules (if applicable), and industry standards. + Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and bonding agents. + Maintain proper internal controls and risk management procedures. + Lead and mentor a finance and accounting team. + Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Salary range*: $170-$210k
