The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Spooling Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong welding and fitting skills, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs, BOMs, and mechanical layouts.

- Lay out piping runs without interfering with equipment, using drawings as a guide.

- Select, measure, cut, fit, and weld various sizes and types of piping.

- Perform required testing of all piping and equipment.

- Safely use hand tools, shop machines, and welding equipment.

- Participate in toolbox meetings and follow all PPE and safety requirements.

- Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Work overtime and weekends as required.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies

- 2–3 years of pipe welding experience (industrial experience preferred).

- Proficient in pipe welding (SMAW, GTAW, etc.).

- Strong ability to read blueprints, P&ID symbols, and take accurate measurements.

- High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.

- Self-motivated, professional, and team oriented.

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.

- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and chemicals.
