Job Description:

The Robotic Welding Operator will set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality welds that meet customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Tasks and Duties

- Set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding equipment for production jobs.

- Perform MIG welding as needed on parts of varying thicknesses.

- Verify weld quality against blueprints, tolerances, and customer specifications.

- Inspect parts using measurement tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Troubleshoot and make basic adjustments to robotic welding programs when necessary.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and safety practices.

- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize jobs and meet production deadlines.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving activities.

Education/Certifications:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

- Technical training in welding or robotics preferred.

Experience:

- 1+ years of experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.

- Demonstrated MIG welding skills across varying material thicknesses.

- Experience in an ISO 9001 certified environment is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

- Knowledge of blueprints, tolerances, and weld symbols.

- Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, etc.).

- Basic programming knowledge (robotic systems) preferred but not required.

- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage changing priorities.

- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships.

- Customer-service and action-oriented attitude; capable of following jobs through to completion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
