You will work within the Finance function, supporting the Director of Tax Research & Strategy. The role is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with Treasury, Legal, Tax Compliance, Technical Accounting, and global Tax teams. You will also interact with external law firms and accounting partners.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Conduct regular surveys with internal teams to understand executed and proposed business transactions.
- Research and analyze complex tax issues and document conclusions through memoranda and presentations.
- Support Treasury with cash management and capital deployment activities.
- Assist Legal and Accounting with entity rationalization, intercompany agreements, and internal transactions.
- Partner with regional Tax teams on issue resolution and communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and coordinate internal tax technical training.
- Support M&A tax structuring by researching ancillary issues and analyzing transaction costs.
- Monitor U.S. and international tax legislative developments and assess business impacts.
- Manage service providers in orphan jurisdictions to ensure compliance and address tax issues.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s in Taxation and/or CPA preferred.
- Advanced tax research skills using tools such as CCH, BNA, IBFD, and government source research.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and complex tax data.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write tax memos and present recommendations clearly.
- Effective collaboration skills and ability to work across functions like Treasury, Legal, and Regional Tax teams.
- High self-awareness, adaptability, and strong follow-through on assigned work.

- This position operates in a hybrid format. Employees are expected to work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters 1–2 days per week to participate in team meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and in-person business activities. Remaining days may be remote based on business needs.
The salary range offered for this role is USD $110,160- 144,585. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
