Opportunity
As a Solutions Architect, you will develop the optimal technical solutions to customer’s business problems and lead the technical vision in solving those problems in supporting the Sales and Business Development organizations in closing opportunities.
Responsibilities
•Designing to cost solutions to address customer specific business problems
•Collaborating with Sales and Business Development to determine and document within the proposal the optimal way to bring together the customer’s business needs and technical solutions in a manner that supports the customer’s long-term goals
•Representing technical solutions within a clear concise customer focused proposal
•Supporting cross-functional teams and establishing the appropriate internal / external resources to drive opportunity solutions that minimize risk and maximize business margins
•Driving engagement and transparency into the organization
•Collaborating with Operations and Engineering to ensure smooth transition and understanding of proposed solution and customer values offered
Position Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
•Experience writing executive level summaries to position business value and customer outcomes
•Proven experience in solution development, technical writing and proposal creation
•3 or more years of combined experience: With excitations systems, generator controls, and/or turbine controls in the power industry
•Technical knowledge/experience of control systems and control system architecture
•Basic understanding of the power generation industry
•Basic understanding of the US power generation market
•Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
