Job Overview
Sunlogix Energy is seeking a Solar Site Survey Technician to join our solar team. The Solar Site Surveyor is responsible for conducting on-site surveys for both residential and commercial solar energy systems, assessing site conditions, and collecting all necessary data to support accurate system design. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of solar energy, electrical systems, different roof types, and materials. Additionally, this position requires quality control and site inspections. The technician will also be responsible for other duties and tasks assigned by management occasionally.
Duties
•Conduct site surveys for residential and commercial properties
•Measure distances, angles, and elevations of land and roofs
•Interpret and analyze initial solar roof layouts
•Collaborate with our engineering and sales teams to ensure compliance with design specifications.
•Utilize tools to open up main service panels and other electrical components
•Provide detailed reports on survey findings
Experience & Skills:
•Previous experience in solar energy, construction, electrical work, or a related field preferred.
•Knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical components, and residential construction is a plus.
•Familiarity with roof types, pitch, and materials.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in reading and understanding solar plan sets
•Experience with both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is preferred.
•Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
•Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to work at heights and on roofs.
•Ability to maneuver through attic spaces.
•Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 lbs
•Must be able to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain. ? Soft Skills:

Work Schedule:
•Depending on customer availability, a full-time position, Overtime, and occasional weekends may be required.
