Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and assessments to determine property boundaries, topography, and site conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and the ability to utilize various tools effectively. The Surveyor will work both independently and collaboratively on projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
•Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries and site layouts.
•Utilize hand tools, power tools, and surveying equipment to gather data.
•Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements.
•Install fixtures as required on various types of structures including roofs.
•Operate forklifts safely when transporting materials or equipment on-site.
•Assess low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards.
•Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey findings.
•Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to support project goals.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in surveying or a related field is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprint reading, and surveying techniques.
•Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
•Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus.
•Ability to operate forklifts; certification may be required.
•Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
•Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
