Solar Site Surveyor

HomeX is looking for a highly motivated candidate for a Site Surveyor role. You will be an integral member of the team focused on developing consistent processes. This role is responsible for measuring roof planes, property lines and obstructions concerning the placement of photovoltaic panels. Their duties include driving to and from prospective sites, using specialized equipment to measure mounting boundaries and creating maps or charts for plan designers to review.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be able to effectively communicate with customers during the initial face to face greeting and/or on the phone

- Inspect roofs for structural integrity

- Occasionally transport materials and equipment to job sites

- Follow a schedule to ensure customer satisfaction and production

- Upload information and details of a job site to plan designers

- Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitive duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

- Maneuver through Attics

- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, community environment

Preferred skills:

- Basic Sales Skills

- Basic Communication Skills

- Understanding of solar PV equipment and installation standards

- Basic knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $875.00 - $2,250.00 per week
