Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Manager to oversee and coordinate various electrical and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both high and low voltage electrical systems, as well as extensive experience in commercial electrician roles. This position requires a hands-on approach, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Field Manager will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Supervise and manage field operations for electrical installations and construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide installation processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment on construction sites.
- Oversee fixture installation, including lighting and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely during project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in electrical work and construction techniques.
- Manage inventory of materials and tools required for projects.
- Proven experience as a Field Manager or similar role within the electrical or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations is essential.
- Experience in commercial electrician roles is preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Hands-on experience with roofing, plumbing, fixture installation, and general construction tasks.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely on-site.
