Site Survey/Inspection Tech

Responsibilities

As a Site Survey and Final Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for critical stages of our

solar installation process, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout. Your key

responsibilities include:

 Site Survey Execution

o Conduct comprehensive site surveys, including accurate measurements of

interior and exterior spaces

o Document electrical panels, meters, potential obstructions, and general property

features through detailed photography

o Analyze roof conditions, shading, and structural integrity for optimal solar system

design

o Coordinate with the Design Team to address technical challenges and optimize

system layouts

 Quality Assurance and Final Inspections

o Perform thorough quality checks on completed solar installations prior to official

inspections

o Ensure all installations meet local, state, and federal regulations and company

standards

o Identify and document any issues, coordinating with installation teams for prompt

resolution

o Prepare detailed inspection reports with clear recommendations for

improvements

 Project Management and Client Relations

o Monitor progress of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion of surveys and

inspections

o Address customer concerns related to the site survey and inspection processes

o Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and address

bottlenecks

 Safety and Compliance

o Adhere to strict safety protocols during all on-site activities

o Conduct safety self-checks and implement corrective measures as needed

o Stay informed about evolving industry regulations and inspection requirements

 Operational Excellence

o Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including safety observations,

production metrics, and any downtime

o Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for process

improvement

o Contribute insights to help develop operational plans that align with company

goals for safety, efficiency, and quality

 Technical Expertise

o Leverage in-depth knowledge of PV solar systems, electrical systems, and

construction principles

o Perform complex tasks such as shading analysis, roof array measurements, and

electrical system assessments

o Evaluate and recommend solutions for challenging installation scenarios

 Continuous Improvement

o Actively participate in and contribute to company initiatives for process

optimization

o Provide regular feedback to management on field challenges and opportunities

o Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in solar energy

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to

quality and safety. You will be a key player in ensuring the success of our solar installations from

initial assessment through final approval.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
