Short Term Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for doing waste characterization of material coming in. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. As a Laborer, you will work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials

- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently

- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Experience

- Previous experience in labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required

- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills

- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day

- Must be able to read and write English and follow directions

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 weeks

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
