Shop/Yard Hand

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Hand to join our team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools and equipment.. As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of our property and shop.

Responsibilities

- Keep the yard and shop clean and organized.

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.

- Participate in snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear.

- Assist the shop manager and mechanics as needed.

Requirements

- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and construction tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
