Shop Hand (Part Time)

Position: Shop Hand (Part Time) Location: Kitchener, ON Salary: $18/hour, 24 hours/week. Flexible Scheduling

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Shop Hand to support our operations behind the scenes.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly. Whether it’s stripping wire, organizing parts, or helping keep the shop in top shape, your work supports our field teams and projects across the province.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- General Shop Cleaning

- Strip wire for scrap

- Assist in sorting, labelling, organizing.

- Help moving, loading material, prepping material

- Pitch in on various hands-on tasks as directed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lb

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

- Basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical materials (an asset, but not required)

- Willing to learn and work as part of a team

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT WOULD BE AN ASSET:

- Forklift certification

- Experience working with different hand and power tools
