Job Summary

As a Shop Technician I, you'll work alongside experienced team members to prepare, clean, and recondition oilfield production equipment. This is an entry-level role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a career in the oil and gas industry.

Duties Include (but not limited to)

- Basic mechanical tasks and tool handling

- Pressure washing and flushing production equipment

- Breaking down and replumbing drain, inlet, and outlet lines

- Sandblasting and painting of equipment

- Operating forklifts and assisting with equipment handling

- Supporting senior technicians as needed

- Tear down, rebuild, test, and refurbish production-based equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues

- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols

- Be a proactive, self-starting team member who can work independently

- Support field work efforts as needed

Qualifications

- Basic mechanical aptitude

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions

- Ability to operate forklifts (training available)

- Oil & gas equipment knowledge is a plus but not required

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
