About This Job

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Hand to join our team at our Pleasanton, TX location. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment and supporting operations related to inventory management, shop and vehicle maintenance, and assisting with assembling and disassembling BOPs and annular elements.

Key Responsibilities

General Shop Duties

•

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.

•

Clean and inspect shop trucks and equipment.

•

Assist with facility upkeep, including sweeping, trash removal, and pressure washing.

Maintenance and Inventory

•

Assist in general maintenance and minor repairs on tools and shop equipment.

•

Run parts and supplies as directed to job sites or vendors.

•

Support inventory tracking and restocking of consumables and parts.

•

Help maintain an accurate log of tools and materials used.

BOP Support

•

Assist with the assembly and disassembly of Blowout Preventers (BOPs), including:

•

Pressure washing and cleaning of components.

•

Replacing packers and inspecting sealing elements.

•

Basic testing support under supervision.

•

Aid in the disassembly and assembly of annular elements.

•

Assist with documenting inspections and test results.

Qualifications

•

High school diploma or GED.

•

Prior shop or field experience in the oilfield services industry preferred.

•

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

•

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

•

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions including .

•

Forklift experience preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS *Full-time, hourly position. 40 hours/week *Company provides required PPE and on the job training *Assistance acquiring CDL *401k with 4% company match
