Shop Assistant

Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Shop Assistant for our Grande Prairie, AB Branch.

The Shop Assistant will be responsible for:

- Cleaning, washing, and organizing equipment

- Working in the shop, yard, and supporting in various departments as needed

- Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of all equipment

- Operating a loader

The desirable candidate will possess:

- A positive attitude and a desire to learn

- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work both the shop and field

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- The ability and desire to perform physical labour

- Oilfield or rig experience is considered an asset

- A clean class 5 license and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
