Summary: Coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties.
Salary Range DOE: $22.14 - 25.07 per Hour
Training Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Perform production duties as needed to ensure on-time deliveries
•Process orders for shipment
•Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
•Receive transferred material from other Seaport facilities
•Pre-receiving and receiving of material
•Process work orders to ship customer orders
•Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules
•Managing all aspects of will-call orders
•Scanning documents related to production and shipping

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
•Ability to write simple correspondence.
•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Eniteoand Internet Explorer software.
