JOB TITLE: Shear OperatorREPORTS TO: Federal Autocat SupervisorJOB TYPE: Full-time, Non-ExemptLOCATION: 6223Thompson Road, Syracuse NYHOURS OF OPERATION: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMOVERTIME: Occasional Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pmCOMPENSATION: $18.00 per hourPURPOSE: The purpose of the Shear Operator position is sorting and shearing catalytic converter products inside warehouse using a stationary shear, and packaging final product for shipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the equipment, handling product, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:* Shears catalytic converters according to written or verbal instructions to recover ceramic catalyst components.

QUALIFICATIONS:* Ability to set-up and run machinery without supervision.
