Job Summary:
This position supports daily rig operations by assisting with field activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, proper equipment usage, and operational best practices. This role contributes to the quality and efficiency of service delivery in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Travels to various company worksites as directed by the VP Operations and Assets to observe, document, and report on rig crew activities and equipment conditions.
•Provides hands-on assistance to rig crews in executing well servicing tasks, including rigging up, well control, and standard field operations.
•Supports the implementation of company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols during field operations.
•Verifies that equipment is functioning properly and safely, and reports issues or irregularities to supervisory personnel.
•Assists in conducting routine audits and inspections of field operations and equipment setups to ensure compliance with company policies.
•Serves as a field resource for troubleshooting operational concerns and escalating complex issues to supervisors or management.
•Responds to customer questions or concerns on-site, when appropriate, and refers to unresolved matters to management.
•Performs other assigned duties in support of field operations and service quality.
•Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to:
+ Goggles, face shields or safety glasses
+ Ear plugs/muffs
+ Steel toes boots
+ Hard hats
+ Safety belts
+ Anti-fall devices
+ SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus)
+ H2S detectors
+ Slicker or Tyvek chemical suits
+ Gloves
•Follows all Company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
•Provides operational reports and observations to the VP Operations and Assets or designated personnel.
Required Qualifications:
•Five (5) or more years of experience working in well service operations, preferably as a rig operator or field technician.
•Strong understanding of field safety practices, equipment operations, and well service procedures.
•Ability to work collaboratively with rig crews and respond flexibly to operational demands.
•Effective communication skills and good judgment in escalating field issues.
•Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties independently under general guidance.
•Must have a valid driver's license.
Education Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•An associate degree in a related field is preferred.
