Evident Process Heat and Power is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead and support our team of field service technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who is looking to step away from hands-on field work and travel, while still leveraging their technical expertise to mentor, coordinate, and support field operations.
The Field Service Manager will oversee daily field service activities, manage scheduling and resources, and act as a key point of contact between our customers and the company. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, clear and effective communication, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor field service technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate and schedule field service work, ensuring timely response to customer needs.
• Track and manage service projects, parts, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and metrics.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding field service work.
• Communicate service status, schedules, and expectations clearly and professionally.
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve field service efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with other departments (engineering, sales, operations) to resolve recurring issues.
• Strong background as a field service technician (industrial equipment, process systems, or similar).
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Customer service mindset and ability to build strong relationships.
• Previous experience managing or leading field service technicians.
• Familiarity with service scheduling systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Understanding of safety standards and compliance practices.
