Job Title: Senior Regional HR Manager Location:

Houston, TX

Reports To:

Senior Director of HR

Position Overview

The Senior Regional Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR delivery and business partnership across RelaDyne’s South Region, supporting a multi-site, field-based workforce in a high-volume, safety-sensitive operational environment. This role ensures consistent execution of HR policies, compliance, and employee relations practices while serving as a key partner to operations leadership across locations.

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting field and frontline employees in fast-paced, labor-intensive industries such as fuel, logistics, or industrial services. They will demonstrate strong working knowledge of multi-state employment practices, effective coaching of leaders, and the ability to lead through influence and accountability. This role manages a small HR team and plays a hands-on role in supporting workforce development, performance management, and policy adherence in collaboration with corporate HR.

This is a highly impactful regional position suited for an experienced HR practitioner who thrives in field operations and excels at building credibility with hourly and salaried teams. For the right candidate, this role offers exposure to enterprise-level initiatives, opportunities for growth, and the chance to help shape the employee experience across a critical region of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day HR delivery across RelaDyne’s South Region, partnering with local leadership to meet workforce needs in field operations, logistics, and corporate environments.
Supervise and guide a team of HR staff, ensuring consistent execution of employee relations, compliance, and policy adherence across multiple sites.
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for regional operations leadership, aligning HR support with business objectives while reinforcing company policies and values.
Lead employee relations efforts for the region, including coaching, investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution with consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
Partner closely with Safety, Legal, and Operations leaders to address workplace concerns, uphold safety protocols, and promote a culture of accountability and respect.
Interpret and apply company policies and employee handbooks across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Implement regional HR initiatives—such as retention programs, engagement activities, and leadership development—in collaboration with enterprise HR teams.
Identify and escalate workforce trends or risks to HR leadership; contribute to scalable solutions that enhance stability, consistency, and business continuity.
Coach frontline and mid-level leaders on performance management, communication, and employee development to strengthen people leadership capabilities across the region.
Support HR efforts during acquisitions, system transitions, and cultural integration, minimizing disruption and maintaining alignment in the field.
Support regional workforce planning efforts, including retention tracking, staffing coordination, and HR support during periods of integration and growth.
Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with regional leadership to ensure HR support is aligned with operational goals and frontline realities.
Oversee leave management processes, including FMLA, ADA, and return-to-work coordination in compliance with legal and policy requirements.
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of employee actions and investigations; partner with HR leadership or legal counsel on escalated matters.
Lead daily operations and workflow for assigned HR team members, ensuring responsive and effective service across the region.
Provide ongoing coaching, recognition, and feedback to HR staff to drive professional development, accountability, and high performance.
Support and execute disciplinary actions and terminations in alignment with company policy, in consultation with HR leadership and field leadership.
Execute additional projects and initiatives assigned by the Senior Director of HR, contributing to operational alignment, continuous improvement, and enterprise HR priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.
Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-site HR management role, ideally in a regional capacity.
Proven ability to manage all core HR functions, including employee relations, investigations, leave and accommodation processes, compensation actions, payroll coordination, and benefits education.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ERISA, Title VII, and relevant state-specific regulations.
Experience ensuring compliance with employment-related regulatory requirements, including EEO reporting, I-9 documentation, and government contractor obligations where applicable.
Demonstrated ability to operate with urgency and follow through in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; able to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and figure things out independently.
Must be a team player who contributes to a positive work environment and supports cross-functional efforts.
Experience supporting large, hourly field-based teams in complex industrial environments, such as field service operations, plant or terminal settings, drivers, and other safety-sensitive fieldwork.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams, and to coach field leaders on performance management, engagement, and accountability.
Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with shifting priorities.
