As a Senior RF Engineer
, You will serve as the
subject matter expert (SME)for
LMRand
Microwavetechnologies, providing strategic technical guidance in
propagation modeling,
interference mitigation, and
spectrum management. This role also involves supporting
business development initiativesby preparing technical proposals, defining project scope, estimating level of effort, and developing implementation plans.
You will also take the leadership role in
project execution, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and alignment with client expectations. You will collaborate with
cross-functional teamsand
industry-leading vendorsto advance wireless communication systems within the
utility sector. Occasional travel to client sites will be required for system inspections, testing, and client meetings.
- Lead the end-to-end RF engineering lifecycle, including design, modeling, deployment, testing, and optimization.
- Provide expert technical advice and consulting services to internal teams and external clients.
- Develop and review RF system designs, specifications, and documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct system performance assessments and implement optimization strategies.
- Support business development activities, including proposal creation, scope definition, and cost estimation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company quality assurance processes.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
- Experience:
Minimum of
11 years
of relevant experience in
wireless communications
; utility sector experience preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
Advanced understanding of RF design principles, engineering standards, and wireless system architectures.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with
LMR
,
Microwave
, and
LTE
systems.
- Familiarity with configuring and testing wireless systems across multiple radio vendors.
- Knowledge of or experience with
RF/Microwave radio equipment configuration
is an advantage.

in RF or wireless communications engineering.
