As the in-house expert, the Senior Pursuit Manager is responsible for managing all elements of DAVIS’ project
procurement response. The Senior Pursuit Manager must be able to develop, write, and edit proposals in
response to requirements derived from formal solicitation opportunities (both Federal and Private), and work
with other departments and market sector leaders to gather information required for the response. Responsible
for providing pivotal analysis and procurement expertise for all market sector groups to utilize towards the
successful pursuit of new business. Overall responsibilities include ensuring brand continuity for DAVIS through
the provision of collaborative, and detail driven, proposal development strategy and resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
NEW BUSINESS: Presentations, Proposals, and Qualifications
and external clients, and focus on how that may differ from market to market; utilizing lessons learned
and best practices to enhance existing processes across the company
reference, experience, project information and boilerplate materials per established brand standards
provide project awards / development information for internal and external communication Review
RFPs and RFQs to establish an appropriate plan of action; constantly identify process efficiencies and
improvements
IT and Employee Resource Planning (ERP) implementation groups in development of new opportunities
tracking
being implemented during the preconstruction and pre-sell phase of the pursuit.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE + SPECIAL SKILLS
Required* Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing or Construction related field
understanding of GSA proposals (SF 330) and other technical government proposal preparation*
Prior team management experience Strong technical writing experience Proven ability to take on a leadership role, mentor staff and proactively identify and resolve problems Strong ability to write creatively and to appeal appropriately to each audience with each message
Decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills
MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience
