Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in Raleigh, NC to coordinate customer relationships to ensure projects are completed according to contract, schedule and quality/dependability.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
•
Responsible for contract assessments and negotiation.
•
Understanding of extremely complex electrical infrastructure design, trade coordination and execution.
•
Oversee the design, implementation, and commissioning phases.
•
Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate HVDC technology with existing power grids, optimizing efficiency and reliability.
•
Enhance grid stability and support renewable energy integration.
•
Conduct feasibility studies, design control strategies, and manage the construction, installation, and commissioning of these systems.
•
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that Synchronous Condenser solutions meet regulatory standards and operational requirements, including the largest Synchronous Condenser project undertaken by Siemens Energy globally.
What You Bring:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
•
Will also accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
•
Experience must include 3 years with: contract management;
•
Negotiation and safety awareness;
•
Primavera P6, autodesk construction cloud, BIM engineering, and VR;
•
High voltage direct current & alternating current transmission/distribution (HVDC) and integrated decarbonization projects (synchronous condensers, static var compensators (STATCOM), fixed series capacitance (FSC).
•
