The Senior Production Analyst leads initiatives aimed at managing various aspects of production software and data accuracy, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Senior Production Analyst oversees production data systems, reporting processes, and collaborative efforts to drive operational excellence and improvements.
• Lead efforts in production software P2/Merrick including being the primary liaison between vendors, overseeing upgrades, user access management, and backend maintenance.
• During acquisition, work with the company being bought to ensure smooth transition and merge of production into Bison’s P2 database.
• Own the P2/Merrick database for data/volume accuracy and setup consistency, including maintaining and running weekly and monthly queries to ensure data quality.
• Analyze production data, including well performance, equipment reliability, and production efficiency to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain production forecasting models to support short-term and long-term planning.
• Process all partner reports, including producing status updates and detailed daily reports sent monthly.
• Monitor production trends and provide regular monthly reports and ad-hoc reports, as requested, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement areas.
• Continual process improvement and automation of daily reporting.
• Manage and process oil and gas statements monthly for volume accuracy including distributing statements internally, working with vendors on issues, and incorporating acquired or new assets into existing workflow.
• Oversee and process revisions for accounting splits and regulatory filings.
• Review and provide approval on production volumes to ensure proper invoice/payment is provided to the internal accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies for document storage, allocations, reporting practices, etc. collaborating with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Own accurate and timely reporting of production volumes to regulatory agencies such as: ECMC, WOGCC, and ONRR.
• Work with EH&S on audits and regulatory compliance initiatives as needed.
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies in production optimization and recommend implementation of new tools or methodologies as appropriate.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to execute projects aimed at improving production performance and reducing operating costs.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $109,200 - $176,300 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

This position is located Denver, Colorado. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
This position operates in an office environment. This entails working inside in an office space wherein employee may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered.
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
This is a full-time position. We operate on a 9/80 work schedule. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working Fridays. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
