About The Role
As a senior member of the Process Engineering team, within a highly integrated engineering, fabrication, and construction environment, you will be taking a discipline leadership role as a member of multi-discipline teams, executing projects from front end design through to commissioning and start-up support. Our fully integrated project delivery model creates opportunities for project team members to collaborate not only with other engineering disciplines, but also with external vendor partnerships, shop fabrication, field construction and operations personnel.
We are seeking self-motivated, experienced, high performing Process Engineers with a demonstrated ability to lead and with experience across all phases of a full project lifecycle covering the design and construction of oil, gas, and energy projects.
Responsibilities
•Lead process design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion and liaise with management on project activity and status.
•Develop project process deliverables including Process Design Criteria, Process simulations, Heat & Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, process narrative, control philosophy and process calculations at different engineering stages including conceptual, FEED, detailed and execute.
•Perform feasibility studies, conceptual design, unit optimization, troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking studies and other process studies during project lifecycle.
•Liaise with other engineering disciplines, fab shop, and construction. Manage collaborative relationships with external stakeholders on a project basis.
•Participate in major reviews such as design reviews, 3D-model, HAZOP and LOPA meetings and manage resolution of action items.
•Provide technical and on-site support during construction, commissioning, and start-up or for operational improvement.
•Assist with proposal development, and man hour estimates.

•Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft office.
•Must have a passion for learning and understanding new industries and projects.
Your Qualifications
•Professional Engineer with bachelor’s or equivalent degree in chemical engineering.
•A minimum of 10 years of relevant process engineering with strong oil and gas background (such as gas plants, wellsite’s, oil batteries, liquid gathering and handling facilities). EPCM background is an asset.
•Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decisions.
•Strong hands-on capabilities in supporting field start-up, plant operation and troubleshooting of systems produced.
•Competent in Process engineering tools and software such as HYSYS and Flarenet.
•Competent in process equipment sizing and process calculations.
•Proficiency with engineering practices, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements pertaining to oil and gas industry.
•Experience in preparing Process manhour estimates and development of proposals.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
•Ability to support on-site construction, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting activities.
