Senior Plant Maintenance

Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Using established procedures and experience, performs plant maintenance duties including but not limited to testing and repairing issues related to safety or functionality

- Records and sends reports of the day’s activities

- Repairs and maintains equipment within the company guidelines and safety standards

- Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues and creates a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem

- Acts as an informal resource for those on the team with less experience

- Work on the dredge- repair, and perform preventive maintenance on piping, pumps, and conveyor systems to maximize safety and uptime.

- In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Details

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience Required

- 3+ years related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Equipment analysis and general repair concepts

- Troubleshooting

- OSHA and MSHA regulations

- Problem solving skills

- Detail orientated
