Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Planning Specialist with a strong background in production and material planning and deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA. This role will serve as the local SAP Administrator, acting as the primary liaison with the global SAP team at HQ. The ideal candidate will lead SAP training, support key users, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless planning operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
SAP Administration & Support
•Serve as the local SAP S/4HANA administrator, supporting modules including SD, FI, MM, PP, and QM.
•Train and support cross-functional key users on SAP functionalities, workflows, and best practices.
•Provide first-level support for SAP-related issues and coordinate with the HQ SAP team for resolution.
•Maintain and update SAP master data, user roles, and authorizations in collaboration with HQ.
•Lead testing, validation, and documentation of SAP changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
•Ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate standards and audit requirements.
Production & Material Planning
•Develop and manage production and material plans to meet customer demand and optimize inventory.
•Analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and material availability to ensure efficient operations.
•Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align planning with business needs.
•Monitor and adjust planning parameters in SAP to reflect real-time operational changes.
Process Improvement & Governance
•Identify and implement process improvements in planning and SAP usage to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
•Standardization and document planning and SAP-related procedures across departments.
•Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
•Track and report on KPIs related to planning accuracy, inventory turnover, and SAP system usage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Act as a liaison between local teams and HQ, ensuring alignment on SAP processes and business requirements.
•Participate in global SAP projects, rollouts, and workshops.
•Promote a culture of continuous learning and digital adoption within the organization.
Required Skills/Abilities
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to train and coach users at all levels of the organization.
•Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, or other SAP reporting tools.
•Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
•Familiarity with global supply chain operations and multi-site coordination.
Education And Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
•Minimum 5+ years of experience in production/material planning and SAP S/4HANA (especially PP, MM, and SD modules).
•Proven experience as an SAP Key User or Administrator in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
