Solar Turbines is seeking an experienced, hands-on senior Technical Architect/Implementation Developer with 12+ years of deep technical expertise in Oracle CPQ, enterprise integrations, and large-scale implementation projects. This is not a passive architecture role - it’s a high-impact opportunity to serve as a strategic advisor, solution architect, and actionable implementation partner.

- Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional business units (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Overhaul, etc.), understanding their needs, goals, and challenges to provide actionable solutions, determine the impact of process changes, provide functional assistance, and ensure business readiness.
- Partner with business team, enterprise architects, and cross-functional development teams to lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions, including working with vendors on customized vendor solutions to meet Solar Business needs.
- Architect and implement enterprise-level integrations between Oracle CPQ and other platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, MES, PLM, and custom systems)
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle CPQ and related technologies.
- Design and implement custom scripts, BLM, Commerce rules, Configuration, and Document Engine Logic within CPQ.
- Guide integration strategy using REST/SOAP APIs, BMQL, and other custom web services.
- Ensure adherence to architecture best practices and that software meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, extendibility, optimization, and sustainability.
- Lead and mentor developers and technical teams across global delivery models.
- Provide technical governance, code reviews, and solution validations during all phases of delivery.
- Perform Oracle CPQ upgrades.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM-related degree.
- 10 years of Enterprise Oracle CPQ solution development experience.
- 10 years of enterprise integration architecture experience.
- 8 years of Oracle CPQ site management experience.
- 8 years of Oracle CPQ administration (configuration, rules, formula management, BML, BMQL, document engine, document designer, report, migration, license management, upgrades)
- 10 years of Java (JDBC, Maven, Spring Framework, Eclipse, Tomcat) development experience.
- 8 years of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience.
- 10 years of experience with document creation using XML and XSL-FO.
- 10 years of hands-on web services (SOAP and REST) and custom API development experience.
- 8 years of Oracle Database (SQL, procedures, functions, triggers) and Data conversion/Data ETL experience.
- 8 years of technical consultancy, UAT, hyper-support, and business support experience.
- 5 years of Agile scrum experience.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Admin, including Apex classes and triggers.
- 8 yrs. project implementation experience using various software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- 5 years with release management and change management experience.
- solid presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to interact with the various levels of management.
- 8 yrs. experience with production support, incident/issue troubleshooting, and resolution.
- 8 years of technical solutioning.
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive outcomes, including responding to production-related outages and issues.
- Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependence.
