Capital Power is seeking a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to join our growing U.S. team. Based in Phoenix, AZ, this hands-on role focuses on the design, implementation, and lifecycle support of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT cybersecurity infrastructure across our fleet of Thermal and Renewable power generation facil

ities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in integrating OT systems, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and modernizing legacy plant infrastructure — with a focus on platforms such as SCADA, HMI, INSM, and historian s

ystems.

This is a critical role that bridges engineering, operations, and cybersecurity, with a strong preference for candidates who bring an engineering degree and field-proven OT/ICS ex

Managing OT Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain OT infrastructure, including HMIS, virtualization, domain and network administration, backup and recovery plans, and configuration of OT-specific network infr

astructureLeading OT Cybersecurity Strategy: Plan, design, implement and support layered security strategies including PAM, MFA, SIEM, and secure network ar

chitectureProviding Technical Direction and Support: Offer expert technical guidance to contract and site maintenance staff, ensuring the successful completion of ICS-rela

ted tasks.Supporting Site Integration: Coordinate the OT / ICS integration of Greenfield and Brownfield sites, developing plans and designs to meet internal standards, regulatory requirements and industry best

practice.Supporting Risk Management & Compliance: Conduct site-level risk assessments, support Management of Change (MOC) process, and assist in regulatory audits and remediatio
