This position is responsible for helping shape and operationalize our executive rewards strategy. This is a critical, high-visibility role that works closely with senior leadership, total rewards, legal, finance, and investor relations to ensure our executive compensation programs align with our business objectives, are market-competitive, and meet evolving governance and regulatory standards. This person is a key contributor to IPO readiness and the Culture and Compensation Committee support.
- Help design, implement, and manage compensation programs for executive leadership, including base pay, bonuses, equity vehicles, and long-term incentive plans (LTIPs).
- Partner with legal, finance, and HR to ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, and other applicable regulatory bodies, both pre- and post-IPO.
- Develop and deliver materials for the Culture and Compensation Committee and Board of Directors, including detailed benchmarking, program design recommendations, and performance/pay analyses.
- Lead or support the development of CD&A and other public filings related to executive pay post-IPO.
- Conduct executive benchmarking using compensation survey data, proxy analysis, and market intelligence to inform pay decisions and design.
- Evaluate pay-for-performance alignment, dilution impact, and shareholder perspectives on executive compensation.
- Support IPO-readiness initiatives related to equity program design, 162(m) transition, say-on-pay strategy, and related governance practices.
- Manage relationships with compensation consultants and legal counsel as needed.
- Act as a thought partner to senior HR leaders and the C-suite on executive rewards strategy and trends.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field required.
- Typically, twelve years of general work experience with eight plus years of experience in compensation, with significant focus on executive compensation.
- Experience supporting both private and public companies.
- Demonstrated experience preparing materials for Compensation Committees and Boards of Directors.
- Deep understanding of equity compensation vehicles (profits interests, options, RSUs, PSUs), IRC Section 409A and 162(m), SEC rules, and proxy disclosure requirements.
- Proficiency in compensation survey data, modeling, and equity valuation tools.
Work Schedule: 4 days a week in office
Travel Expectations: up to 10%
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
