Senior Field Surveyor

About This Job

THIS POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Field Surveyor to join our Land Survey team! As a Senior Field Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying and supporting a variety of site development and utility infrastructure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Set up, operate and break down all survey equipment including Total Stations, GPS, Levels, Scanners, etc.

•

Load and unload survey vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies

•

Perform staking (set hubs, mark lath, paint, cut/fill, etc.)

•

Comprehend record maps and documents for boundary surveys

•

Collection, measuring, and setting of survey monuments

•

Perform QA/QC

•

Produce field notes

•

Communicate in a professional manner

•

Ensure the safety and security of people and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

•

Minimum 6 years of previous experience in land surveying

•

Knowledgeable in land surveying and civil engineering concepts and principals

•

Working knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil3D, GIS, and/or MicroStation is a plus

•

Must possess a valid California driver's license since driving is an essential function of this job with no reasonable alternative transportation methods available

LOCATION

This position is located in Clovis, CA

•

This position requires the ability to travel up to 90% of the time
