A DAY IN THE LIFE

•

Manages project engineering firms, junior engineering staff, serves as a proponent for project-level needs, performs calculations, reviews and issues plans and specifications to ensure the company achieves its strategic objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

•

Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, geological, or mining engineering, or related field required. Professional Engineer licensure is preferred, with an emphasis on construction, geotechnical, or structural engineering. At a minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training certificate.

•

Four or more years of progressive geotechnical engineering and engineering supervisory experience, in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

•

Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering.

•

Field Surveying experience.

•

Advanced experience with soil stabilization, geotextiles, soil corrosion, heavy haul roads, crane lift plans, and Lpile software is a plus.

•

Professional Engineering License.
