Job Description

Puget Sound Energy's (PSE) Electric System Planning team seeks a Senior Engineer to join our team as a Distribution Reliability Planner! In this role you will focus on enhancing system reliability and reducing wildfire risk across PSE's 12.5kV and 34.5kV electric distribution system. You will also support new initiatives and technologies, frequently alongside other PSE teams, to modernize PSE’s electric grid. Recent examples include supporting Faulted Circuit Indicators, Fusesavers, and working to develop a microgrid strategy to improve reliability. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our distribution system's safety and performance.

This position serves as a technical leader for the team and is ideal for experienced engineers seeking a role in electric utility engineering. As a Senior Engineer you will provide professional engineering support and technical guidance to more junior engineers, provide technical direction for the team, understand corporate strategy and priorities, and have the ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.

The pay range for this position is $104,500.00 - $174,100.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
