Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and execute the NiSource Cyber Assessments program, also known as Third Party Risk Management, and Technology support. Cyber Assessments include corporate and technology Control Assessments using Archer and/or Fortress and coordinating independent assessments such as penetration tests, NIST CSF, and mock regulatory reviews. Technology supports focuses on our enterprise Archer implementation and Fortress solution. The Cyber Assessments Analyst will work collaboratively with numerous teams including NERC CIP Compliance, Pipeline Compliance, Information Technology, Supply Chain and the business. This role is responsible for executing the Cyber Assessment program and driving the effective use of Archer and Fortress, including new functionality, upgrades, dashboards and metrics. They work closely with the Cybersecurity Director, the Manager Cyber Assessments, the Manager(s) Cyber Compliance, IT Directors and Managers, Supply Chain Managers and Analysts, and others as needed to ensure that all assessment results are addressed and leverage Archer and Fortress and their adoption.
Essential Functions•Executes or assists others in executing Cyber Assessments supporting the business, Cyber, IT, OT, and the business ensuring Supply Chain processes are adhered to. Reviews must meet stated objectives, budget requirements, timeline requirements and reporting/readout requirements.
•Work closely with the business, OT, IT, and Cyber and Service Providers to perform and/or support Cyber Assessment processes.
•Assist in executing the Cyber Assessment program, ensuring a methodology is used and communicated relative to when a Cyber Assessment is performed, risks are mitigated, results are communicated, and metrics are produced supporting the program.
•Supports and strives to be knowledgeable relative to Fortress Control Assessments, contributing to the direction of the product, our leveraging of the tool, and the ongoing business benefit to NiSource,
•Assist in driving the implementation of the roadmaps for Cyber Assessments, Archer, and Fortress Control Assessments
•Supports and strives to be knowledgeable relative to Archer, contributing to the direction of the product, our leveraging of the tool, and the ongoing business benefit to NiSource; Serves as an Archer ambassador across NiSource as to capabilities and expanded adoption.
•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
•Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in responsibilities and direction of the program. Assist in audit/issues tracking and resolution for processes related to Cyber Assessments as requested. Advance the use and adoption of Archer to maintain and manage risk, compliance, and policy monitoring and tracking.
•Required Qualifications For Position
•Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
•4-6 years of IT experience in varying support functions
•4-6 years In-depth experience with ITIL processes and metrics
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. High
•Excellent teaming, collaboration, negotiation, communication, organizational, people management and conflict resolution skills. High
•Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive. High
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills High
•Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, cloud services, and the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly. MuleSoft, Power BI and AI a plus. High
•Proficiency using development tools and software. Medium
•Professional certifications in relevant IT and Compliance areas. Medium
•Experience in a utility or similar industry or sector. Medium
•Analytical abilities, including process analysis and development, problem solving and root cause analysis. Medium
•Willing to travel to NiSource business unit locations, as needed. Medium
•Solid understanding of NIST 800-53 v5 and NIST CSF 2.0 Control sets. Medium
•Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V4 certification Upon Hire

Salary Range*:
$93,800.00 - $140,700.00
•The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
