New Jersey Resources is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to work under direct supervision to monitor, maintain and enhance the security of the organization’s information systems assets and infrastructure.
Major Responsibilities
•Process user access requests, account provisioning, de-provisioning, and access changes in accordance with established procedures.
•Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents and service requests via ticketing systems.
•Assist in periodic access reviews, audits, and certifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
•Maintain accurate documentation of IAM processes, procedures, and access control configurations.
•Support onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring timely and secure access provisioning.
•Collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to resolve access-related issues.
•Participate in IAM tool administration and maintenance under supervision.
•Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
•Respond to security alerts and assist in incident investigations.
•Ensure compliance with Identity and Access Management (IAM) procedures and policies.
•Provide system level logs and details for potential security investigations.
•Conduct regular system assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure configurations comply with Information Security requirements, policies and standards.
•Ensure users understand and adhere to necessary procedures to maintain security; assist in delivering security awareness.
•Assist in the development and periodic review of security procedures.
•Assist and support in the implementation of Information Security related projects.
•Produce regular KPI and status reports;’ maintain security documentation.
•Collaborate with vendors, contractors and internal teams as required.
•Participate in cybersecurity risk assessment and security patch management processes.
Position Requirements:
•Bachelors degree in cyber security or a related field, or equivalent work experience
•0-2 years of experience with security platforms such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Antivirus/HIPS, encryption, vulnerability testing, firewalls, web proxies, patch management, logging/auditing, IAM systems, etc.
•Working knowledge of system security design process, risk management, contingency planning, change management, auditing, and security testing.
•Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaborative across teams and external partners.
•Professional demeanor, proactive, self-motivated and positive.
•ISC2 CISSP Certificate preferred.
•Occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery or offsite equipment support.
•Ability to work extended hours and/or alternate schedules.
•On call support 24 x 7 with 30 minute response as needed.
•Extended duration of computer terminal usage.

Other Details:
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $66,300- $84,500.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
