What does a Senior Contracting Agent do for us?
The Senior Contracting Agent works independently and with minimal guidance to lead stakeholders in the development of internal customer materials and service contracts of significant risk and/or complexity. They lead the competitive bidding process, negotiations, and prepare comprehensive contract documents. The Senior Contracting Agent will meet business unit cost objectives with a focus on delivering the best value to Idaho Power.

- May be required to work extended hours in the event of large emergencies, i.e. fires, outages, etc.

- 6 or more years related work experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
