Senior Chemistry Consultant

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Chemistry Consultant for our Nuclear business unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for primarily BWR chemistry consulting work supporting the energy industry. The role will be to support the Chemistry Services team in BWR chemistry related services and support such as open and closed cooling water, primary chemistry systems, troubleshooting efforts, assessments, chemistry related equipment, and engineering support.

The work environment is a dynamic team including potentially utilizing other technical expertise within Structural Integrity (e.g., Vessel and Internals, Materials, Vibration, etc.) based on project requirements. The role will support and perform analysis on projects that range from chemical optimization, transient modeling, EPRI research efforts, utility troubleshooting, etc.

This is a full-time position that can be fully remote or based in one of Structural Integrity’s offices.

Primary Responsibilities:* Participation in utility assessments (e.g., chemistry related system optimization, chemical optimization, troubleshooting, etc.)

Required Skills/Qualifications:* 5-10 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry supporting Chemistry and/or Engineering efforts (specifically BWRs)

Desired Skills/Qualifications:* >10 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry supporting Chemistry and/or Engineering efforts including troubleshooting and assessment support (specifically BWRs)

Pay Range:

The expected salary range for this role in Huntersville, NC is $87,840 to 153,480 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
