Our client's Nuclear IT team is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support strategic initiatives in Nuclear. This role demands a seasoned professional with:
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Familiarity with systems analysis methodologies and modern computing technologies
• The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, documentation, as-is/to-be analysis, and gap assessments for new system implementation projects. Effective communication—written, verbal, and presentation—is essential.
• Serve as a strategic partner to business units, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement
• Lead collaborative workshops and elicitation sessions with stakeholders to define actionable system requirements
• Conduct structured documentation, including gap analysis, test planning, and process mapping
• Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes by coordinating with business owners and vendors
• Translate complex business needs into clear, concise communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• Advise business units on current and future-state systems to enhance technology alignment
• Interface with IT teams, internal business partners, and external service providers to implement and maintain critical applications
• Lead full lifecycle delivery of technology initiatives—from planning and stakeholder engagement through implementation, testing, and post-deployment optimization
• Ability to learn quickly, ask insightful questions, and apply new knowledge effectively
• Strong organizational skills and precision in documentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Business, or related fields
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus
