Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives and support strategic decision-making across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive experience with business intelligence tools, and a solid understanding of project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement data analysis strategies that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Responsibilities

- Analyze complex business problems and translate requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to support executive decision-making.

- Lead projects utilizing Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery within scope and quality standards.

- Design and optimize databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Perform comprehensive data analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to extract insights from large datasets.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, develop analytics models, and improve existing processes through innovative solutions.

- Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in planning, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics applications.

- Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to facilitate understanding of workflows and system architecture.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Skills

- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

- Strong knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

- Experience with SDLC processes for software development projects.

- Advanced data analysis skills using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages.

- Expertise in database design and management for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases.

- Solid understanding of business analysis principles with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Familiarity with analytics techniques including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in data validation and quality assurance.

- Ability to create comprehensive documentation using Visio or similar diagramming tools.
