Allied Gold is a Canadian-based gold producer with a significant growth profile and mineral endowment which operates a portfolio of three producing assets and other development projects located in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Ethiopia. Led by a team of mining executives with operational and development experience and proven success in creating value, Allied Gold aspires to become a mid-tier next generation gold producer in Africa and ultimately a leading senior global gold producer.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a one-year contract. This position will be responsible for providing day-to-day end-user support on various financial systems such as Oracle NetSuite and OneStream.
Position Responsibilities
•Provide day-to-day end-user support for NetSuite systems.
•Understanding of basic ERP functionality within financial, procurement and inventory modules.
•Manage and maintain master data records within the financial systems.
•Create process flows using MS Visio.
•Develop process documentation and user guides.
•Ensure compliance with systems access, user roles and maintain audit trails.
•Ensure change management procedures are followed for any ERP changes.
•Establish quarterly procedures for system review and approval.
•Assist with process improvements and system enhancements.
•Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm system functionality as needed.
•Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their system needs.
•Assist with the implementation of any new systems and data migration.
Position Qualifications
•This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commerce. CPA, Ontario designation is an asset.
•This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting experience, especially as a finance super-user.
•Proven experience in Oracle systems, preferably NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
•Working experience with OneStream is an asset.
•Experienced with any systems implementation or process improvement projects.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in MS Visio and Microsoft Office tools.
•Experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft Apps is an asset.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
•Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
•Independent, detail-oriented and highly motivated in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to travel to Allied’s operations and offices.
