Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Must have valid driver's license

High School Diploma/GED Required

Related experience preferred

Ideal dedicated candidates for security coupled with an ability to thrive amid challenges

Must be reliable and agree to work either day or night shifts

Ability to obtain an Illinois PERC card

Drug testing required

Clean background Check

Responsibilities

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel

Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment

Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises

Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process

Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle

Checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
