Job Summary
The
Security Equipment Reliability Manager
manages all aspects of the PSEG Nuclear Security Equipment Reliability Program, to include the coordination and prioritization of corrective maintenance activities, as well as ongoing lifecycle management of security systems. The PM will monitor, communicate, and negotiate project plans for internal and external customers, suppliers, contractors, vendors and government agencies to meet established project objectives; as well as, interface with various PSEG departments to include Finance and Nuclear Projects when their support is needed.
*This role requires unescorted access to the Nuclear facility.
(WILL BE REQUIRED ONSITE 3-4 months then- depending on business move into hybrid of 2-3 days a week)
Job Responsibilities
•Monitor health of security equipment; video surveillance, perimeter intrusion defense alarms, fencing, gates, lighting, delta barriers, jersey barriers, intercoms and access control systems that protect company assets and facilities.
•Develop and manage the Life Cycle Plan for Nuclear Security’s IDS and access control systems
•Researches, engineers, and guides the implementation of integrated, cost-efficient, physical security systems, e.g., intelligent CCTV, IDS, access control systems, including biometrics, interface with the Company’s Security Command Center, law enforcement or central station reporting
•Manages, develops, designs, gains approval and funding for special projects, including but not limited to new construction, regulatory requirements, and guides implementation of the associated physical security operational procedures, i.e., Practices, Instructions, and Directives, which establish day-to-day operational security parameters
Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 8 years maintenance experience on security systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Project Management and Accounting skills.
• Ability to write and speak about technical aspects related to accounting, procurement, and project design to both SMEs and non-SMEs.
