Saw Operator

Logan Steel Inc. is looking for a saw operator to join our family! We are looking for a candidate with structural, miscellaneous metals and job shop experience. The right fit for this position is a motivated individual who is detail oriented and performs well in a fast-paced environment. We offer a safe work environment and are willing to train candidates who would like to extend their skillset.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

➢ Cut structural pieces of metal using a saw

➢ Load/unload material via forklift, side-stacker, or overhead crane

➢ Accurately use tape measure and other measuring instruments

➢ Perform quality control of cut material

➢ Perform general equipment maintenance and maintain a clean workspace

➢ Communicate effectively

Experience & Education:

➢ Minimum 2 years experience

➢ Trade School/High School/GED

➢ Basic blueprint interpretation (dimensions & tolerances)

Physical Demands:

➢ Good general health with good balance, agility, vision, and depth perception

➢ Ability to twist, stretch, push, pull, & lift on a regular basis

➢ Ability to stand for extended periods of time

➢ Lift up to 75 lbs.
