Shifts Available and Hours:First shift 7am-3pm
- Inspect saw for any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues; report immediately to the Extrusion Lead.
- Check cut length at the beginning of each shift and after any work stoppage.
- Ensure proper saw blade coolant levels; replace 20” saw blade as needed.
- Empty the saw chip collector at the end of each shift; notify fork-lift driver when chips are full.
- Protect metal from scratches, dents, or other damage during handling transition.
- Ensure adequate use of spacer bars to prevent denting.
- Review press folder for special instructions.
- Assist with moving metal to saw storage table.
- Sets up dollies, racks, and spacer bar placements.
- Verify cut tolerance for each specific job.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
